Mouat Runs For Terry Fox

For the first time in over a decade, W.J. Mouat Secondary staff and students took to the streets for the annual Terry Fox Run in support of cancer research. Staff and students were asked to wear a sticker which highlighted who in their life had been impacted by cancer. It was a very positive event that saw plenty of smiles on a gorgeous Thursday morning. The run was divided into two groups: competitive and non-competitive. In the competitive category, Grade 10 Devlynd Cavallaro took the top prize at a staggering time of 8 minutes 45 seconds. Top female finisher was Sonali Gauba at a time of 10 minutes 15 seconds. Well done staff and students! All proceeds raised from today's event went directly to cancer research and the Terry Fox Foundation.
